Navigation of Psychedelic States
Psychedelics are described as 'amplifiers of mental processes' which rely on multiple unique and subjective factors. This makes it nearly impossible to predict the narrative of any psychedelic session. A navigation skill set is a psychological tool kit the psychedelic user may utilize to make their way through non-ordinary states safely and effectively. It can also deepen the medicine dialogue, enhance emotional and physical resilience and reduce possibility for challenging experiences. A navigation skill set can minimize potential risks and maximize any potential benefits, supporting the user in gaining more meaning, understanding and growth from the psychedelic experience.
Participants will learn:
Characteristics of transpersonal states
Foundational strategies to embark into conscious states
Meeting and easing into non-ordinary consciousness
Emotional awareness and presence skills
Content discovery and interaction
Staying centered through challenging moments and content
Safe transitioning back into ordinary consciousness
